CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES STIR FRY


The story of this recipe begins with my curiosity about Asian-style meals.
We love to enjoy from time to time these foods, the problem is that going to a restaurant is not an option for us now.
So I started to do a little research of products and try to adapt some recipes for my family's palate.
This stir fry chicken is delicious and does not take long to prepare, all you need are the ingredients unique to Asian cusine, and really worth buying and trying this dish.

INGREDIENTS

2 chicken breasts into chunks
1 fresh red pepper into strips
2 carrots into strips
3 medium bok choy chopped
1 medium onion, julienned thick
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon honey
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons Shaohsing rice wine
1 / 2 teaspoon hot chile flakes
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
salt and pepper to taste


DIRECTIONS

We need a wok for this preparation, if you do not have one, may use a large skillet.

The Bok Choy can be found easily in any supermarket Shaohsing rice wine get it in Asian food store,you can also replace it with rice vinegar.

Heat the wok add the oil, ginger and garlicimmediately the chicken, let it begin to cook for 8 minutes. Add onion, red pepper and carrot, cook for 5 minutes.
Remember that during all the preparation the wok must be very hot.
In a bowl mix the honey, rice wine, oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper, add to the previous preparation with red pepper flakes.
Let the flavors be incorporated for 5 minutes, mix cornstarch with water, add and mix.
Apart from the heat and serve immediately, this dish can be accompanied by white rice.

Serves 6 people.
